Mounting hooks work with Ø 6-16 mm bike racks (bar thickness)
Press the top button to slide/adjust hooks horizontally across rail
Adjustable max pannier hook width: 6.5 inches (16.5 cm)
Adjustable minimum pannier hook width: 3.75 inches (9.5 cm)
Red spring latch securely locks pannier down to the carrier

The Kompakt Rail hooks are shorter so they reduce the problem of the hook making contact with an E-bike where the battery is integrated into the carrier

Perfect! Glad it worked. Just a community note: It fits perfectly for replacing the old VARIO system, but it doesn't align perfectly to the TWIST system holes. So new holes will need to be drilled if upgrading the TWIST system to the Kompakt Rail.
