Garment Pannier - Classic 2.1

They’re very large and add some weight to the ride so they aren’t panniers for every day travelling per se, but they’re perfect for their intended purpose - commuting! The amount of storage is superb.

So far this has done everything I expected it to. The pictures, description, and the other reviews got me comfortable purchasing this as my main commuting bag. Very pleased with the purchase.

I really liked the original classic garment pannier that I bought 2.5 years ago but I love the Kompakt Rail system! It's wonderful to be able to adjust the clips to fit the racks on my two different e-bikes. They hold the bag much more securely to the rack than the old butterfly clips. Now if the lower clip only had a knob adjustment so you didn't need a screwdriver to readjust it for different bikes it would be perfect...

I commute about 22 miles a day and love being able to pack my uniform in this bag so it isn't all wrinkled when I get to work. My only other suggestion would be to add a loop on the rain cover for a tail light. The rain cover blocks the light mounted to the back of the bike and when riding in our dark, rainy mornings in the Pacific Northwest visibility is essential. Otherwise a terrific product!

The item is great for my needs. I work in a corporate setting and appreciate the space for carrying extra layers, a lunch, my laptop, and papers. The one funny thing for me is the bag's side panel design that sits with a vertical zipper. The idea for that pouch is so that you can hang the bag and not have items fall out. I'd prefer to have both pouches with a zipper on top. Other than that it's been awesome.

Overall, my experience has been great. the Pannier comfortably fits my suit, towel, change of clothes, laptop, some books, lunch, and shoes. Very easy while riding my bike to work, both uphill and down hill. It's fairly intuitive to put on, and snaps on my rear rack very well. So far, it's been durable, so I've not experience any issues.
Two recommendations I'd give so far is,
1. Figure out an even more easier way to have the red release catch to come off. It sometimes takes a minute for me to get it off, but usually when I have a full load. Other than that, it comes off fairly easily with smaller loads.
2. Recommend the width of the pannier be a bit wider. The suit will tend to get a bit bunched on the sides.
Other than that, love the bag, keep up the great innovative work!
